Element: Identify service and repair requirements
  • Follow standard operating procedures and comply with work, health and safety (WHS) requirements at all times
  • Obtain system and component specifications and other relevant information from appropriate sources and in accordance with organisational and customer requirements
  • Establish service requirements and other information relevant to task in accordance with customer needs, organisational and manufacturer specifications and legislation, codes, regulations and standards

  • Identify risks and hazards and make area secure
  • Apply specific isolation and safety measures with special regard to associated equipment

Assessment Tasks

Include guidelines about how well the candidate has to perform a task for it to be judged satisfactory.
